A devoted Sunite Sharessan, Elice has been with Memner since Sune and Sharess came to her (she believes), in a dream and touched her personally. Passionate, confident, and lively, the older women of Speardale look down on her and envy her at the same time; the women outside Speardale tend not to give her any thought. The favorite of the boys, Elice is by far the most devoted to Sune’s credo of Memner’s three girls, and is the only of the three to truly choose the life she leads.
The daughter of a fairly well-off (but by no means wealthy) merchant in Amn, Elice was never one to love coin (though she loved the beauty if could bring), but even as a young girl was fascinated with beauty. As she grew and learned of adult pleasure, a deep fire lit within her. Not a true nymphomaniac— she actually receives pleasure easily— she is nonetheless nearly always in a state of arousal. When the local Sunite priest, Memner, announced he had had a dream to bring pleasure and beauty to a small town half way across the world, Elice leapt at the opportunity to join him. Though she knew she would be viewed in low terms, the opinions of others never mattered to her the slightest whit: those who would view her as an object have such a view kindly but firmly stamped out before they are welcome to her pleasures.
