The northeastern most nation on Andril, Bornhold is a land of deserts, canyons, and desolation. Plateaus of sparse vegetation dominate its western border, with cracked, gaping beds of scorched earth covering most of its border with Thrainold. Central Bornhold is marginally friendlier, as winter and autumn bring rain and snow that the local nomads have learned to capture and stretch to last through the arid summer months. Fishing towns dot the eastern shores, and the port town of Pair’s Bluff serves as the nations primary trading post, shipping iron, gold, silver, copper, lumber- and, most recently, mythril- to various other ports throughout Andril. Though most of these exports are raw, unfinished metals and logs, the Ironhalls is known as the continent’s armory, and produces some of the finest weaponry and armor outside of Brogdon.
